About:

   So you, and too many others, may have lost your homes, or had your homes seriously damaged. By wildfires out West. By flooding and high winds from hurricanes, tornadoes and other storms. In Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and elsewhere in the Caribbean. In Houston and Texas. In Florida. In New Orleans and the Gulf states. And elsewhere in the Americas and on the planet.
 
   And too many people have lost their lives or were seriously injured. Lost their personal property too-vehicles, furniture, everything. But most have survived, thankfully.

   Or maybe you know someone who has lost something. Or are concerned you may be next - depending on the weather, the geology, chance.

   Maybe you think we need to have more help and resources in preventing and fighting natural and other threats to life and homes and want to organize to do this. And to rebuild our homes and lives and communities. Faster and better.

   Now that some home insurance companies may be dragging their feet or finding reasons not to pay for damages you thought were covered, insured homeowners and others are learning the hard way at a bad time:  AFTER their losses. After the damage and destruction has occurred.

2) --->ALSO: GET and BRING YOUR COMPLETE COPY OF YOUR HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE POLICY TO A REPUTABLE, COMPETENT ATTORNEY FOR IMMEDIATE REVIEW AND ADVICE - BEFORE YOU LOSE YOUR RIGHTS (often under state laws and regulations or the terms of the policy itself.) Problem getting a complete copy from your insurance company?  CALL your lawyer and tell her/him to get it for you now.

   3) Let your elected state and federal officials know what you think is needed in the way of faster help from them and from insurance companies.  Now.
